SHIPPING DETAILS, Duties & Taxes
Do you ship ?

Yes, we ship almost everywhere with several different options which include DHL Express. UPS or Canada Post via USPS for USA and International shipping both with and without full coverage insurance. 

Canada: 

The Shop uses Canada Post Express, or UPS on all shipments within Canada. Canada Post also offers total loss insurance of up to $5000 which can be added to your order HERE 

United States:

International orders including those to the USA are not shipped dutie/taxes paid. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine any additional costs. NOTE: THIS CHARGE IS NOT FROM THE SHOP, THIS CHARGE IS NOT FROM THE COURIER , THE AMOUNT REQUIRED FROM THE US CUSTOMS AND BORDER CONTROL) again Please check with your country’s customs office to determine any additional costs.
Orders with a value over $2500usd shipped UPS, Customs may require a tax id number ( for businesses ) or social security number ( for individuals) to release packages from customs.
You have the option to select either paid DHL shipping (orders over $1000cnd are shipped with signature required for security reasons) ) 

Paid DHL: Is a faster option.

We highly suggest fully insured option for the value of your shipment when checking out on all orders valued over $1000.

International: 

You have the option to select either DHL, UPS or Canada post Via EMS (depending on the value of your order)

DHL: Is a faster a far more secure option, however is more likely to be associated with duties and customs charges.

We highly suggest using DHL fully insured option for the value of your shipment when checking out. 

Canada Post/USPS : Is a slower option that doesn't have the same safety features as provided by DHL, Orders under $600 are typically never hit with any sort of import fee , Order over $1000 are less likely to be subject to the same fees as DHL. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine any additional costs Insurance can be purchased HERE 

When you receive Leather from The Shop
Congrats , you’ve received your new leather jacket ! Now what ? Here’s a quick run down of the first things you should check before you really start breaking it in. It’s best to reach out to us as soon as possible if you need to swap out or exchange a piece … don’t make these simple mistakes that can hinder that process .
YOU Double Charged me !
We have had a number of people reach out after placing orders saying that they have been double charged..


Long and short of it, payment providers often run a pre-auth transaction to the card to make sure the funds are available and that the bank doesn't need to alert the customer of a fraudulent charge.


Pre auth transactions are then deleted off your card, depending on your bank this may be in an hour or may take 24 hours or more.

We have not charged you multiple times for the same order. This is just a feature that comes along with service providers

Pre Order Lead Times / Custom orders
Lead times are determined by the manufacturer of the pre ordered product and are subject to change without notice.

When orders are placed we only have a rough idea of how long it will take and provide you with the most accurate information we can for the product to be produced. Changes to that time are out of our control.

Our Y2 leather delivery windows are Spring and Fall Spring Delivery window is between March 1st and June 20th Fall Delivery window is between Sept 20th and Dec 20th

Wesco Boots:


Current open orders have been landing between 18-20 months from po date.
When you place a deposit for a new custom form , We will send you a Wesco custom form, tape measure and return envelope with postage paid in the USA. Custom lead times start from the date your new form is received and processed by Wesco, so please do not wait on sending in your form

NH Service boot, These have arrived with the exception of some of the custom builds from the original pre order

Short Stack Olive Preorders are currently delivering, most have arrived with the exception of custom orders

Mister Lou Olive Petrolio April 2nd. A large number of boots have been arriving from the original pre order, and most open orders are being filled as pre order boots arrive we will be in contact if your size arrives or when your custom boot shows up

DH Service Boot we are starting to see batches these arrive at The Shop from the original pre order

Can you put a lower value on my package?

Sorry we can not,
One -  it's illegal. Two - It's in both of our best interest to have a properly declared value in the event that your package is lost or stolen. Duties and Customs charges are not determined by The Shop. If you have any concerns feel free to text me 604 229 2134 or email VIP@TheShopVancouver.com

Size Exchanges Return Instructions

Please note, as outlined in or terms of service you agreed to at the time of purchase The Shop does not do Cash / Debit or Credit card refunds.

The Shop allows a 10 day return period from the date of the first delivery attempt.

If you need to return something for a size exchange be sure to reach out before doing so and follow the instructions below. You can reach out to me via text message within North America at 604 229 2134 or via email VIP@TheShopVancouver.com and we can talk about options


Exchange items MUST NOT BE WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and MUST HAVE ALL TAGS ATTACHED. Items with missing tags, or any any indication that it has been worn (outside of just trying the product on) will not qualify for exchange or credit. This is especially important with leather products ordered from The Shop as outlined in the video attached to your delivery confirmation email we sent you. Always be gentle trying items on for the first time, if you suspect that you may need to exchange for a different size let me know immediately. Do not wait days to inform us, wear or spend enough time in the piece that it starts to show signs of wear. Leather starting to show signs of "whiskers" on the sleeve will not be accepted for return, an invoice for return shipping will be sent back to the buyer. Items must be received back at The Shop Vancouver within 10 days of the first attempted delivery date. For example, if the tracking shows an attempt at delivery or delivery of June 1st your item must be received back to The Shop by June 10th.

When you sending your item back, please send it with a detailed note, including your order number also any information, like the item we are exchanging for. It also helps me a lot if you let me know what platform we talked on so I can find the messages.

if you are sending a product back to The Shop for an exchange cross border USA or international, be sure to include a copy of your original invoice that was emailed to you. Mark on any customs forms that the "Reason for Export" is a "Warranty Return" also including your original tracking number and designate that any charges will be billed to you. DO NOT give the reason of "commercial merchandise"

Failure to follow these instructions will result in additional charges. Any charges associated with receiving the product back to The Shop will be the buyers responsibility and will need to be paid before exchanges are sent, or deducted from any store credit issued

Its super common for me to get messages saying . I'm a 32 ... what size do I wear. These videos will help you.
Will you hold that product for me to come check out?

Typically No, we are a small business with very limited stock. If you contact me direct and specify exactly which product you are asking about, I can may be able to hold it for you until the end of the day. If you have a product in mind feel free to text me 604 229 2134 and we can talk about extending options.

You didn't respond to me on Instagram

I do my very best to respond to everything I receive, Instagram however is the least reliable platform for messaging. Sometimes messages get opened, missed , or buried without a response. If you have something specific you need addressed, you can message me again or within North America text 604 229 2134. The text platform reaches me directly, and shows me when messages have not been responded to. If do you have specific requests, please be very clear about your requests. I now save most messages and this is often the only information I have to go off. If I do not confirm your request, please do not assume, message me again and ask for confirmation or any additional information you may need. 

Tracking says "Delivered" but I dont have it !
Sometimes when using Canada Post to USPS or EMS. USPS or EMS will mark the Canada Post tracking as Delivered when it reaches their sorting facility. Usually this is resolved once USPS or EMS updates the tracking number on their end. If your order is marked delivered on your tracking, but has yet to be delivered feel free to reach out to me VIP@TheShopVancouver.com or via text 604 229 2134 and I can put in a track and trace investigation right away to find out what has happened. Tracking times are estimates given to us by the shipping companies. 4-12 business days is typical. Delays due to Customs, Weather ect are 100% out of our control. Again if you have a package that seems to be delayed , reach out to us and we can contact the shipper, escalate a track and trace with them and find out whats going on.
Aren't you a motorcycle shop?

No, The Shop has never sold motorcycles, we have always helped our customers find and sell bikes though. 

1st Time Orders ID Verified
Due to increase fraud. We may require first time purchasers with an order over $200 to verify their identity. You will received an email from Brapp@TheShopVancouver.com asking to confirm your order, along with a request and instructions of how to verify your identity. failure to provide verification may result in the cancelation of your order.
When is my pick up ready to be picked up ?
When you place an order for in-store pick up, you will receive an email letting you know your package is ready to be collected. Ready orders can be picked up during our posted open hours of Thursday - Friday 1-5:30 Saturday - Sunday 12-4
